The SPP - Student Partners Program is an arrangement between selected Canadian educational institutions and Canadian High Commission in India for a quick & easy study visa process for the prospective students of participating institutions in Canada, who are the members of the ACCC - Association of Canadian Community Colleges. The SPP program was started for September 2009 intake & it is still running successfully with very high visa approval rate.

SPP rules for Indian Students:

- Proof of Tuition Fee payment: *Copy of receipts for tuition payment (ONE Semester/ONE Year - as asked by the SPP institution) - *Proof of funds (Living Expenses): *You MUST demonstrate the purchase of a special Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC) from a participating Canadian financial institution (Scotia Bank), in the amount of $10,000 CAD to cover living expenses for your first year in Canada.

- Language Ability: *IELTS test results taken within last 24 months with overall band not less than 6.0, with no individual band lower than 5.5 bands in any module.

SPP Requirements

Under SPP in India, the following requirement are still the same:

- Passed out from 12th Grade in the last TWO years or completed Bachelor's Degree in the last FIVE years,
- Scored overall 6.0 bands in IELTS in last TWO years,
- Have atleast 50% score in their latest qualification,
- Graduated with NOT more than TWO backlogs per year,
- Previously never denied Canadian Study Visa.
